Empowering survivors through compassionate care
Our History
Established in 2017, The Trauma Centre was created to provide free counselling for adult survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and childhood sexual abuse. Our service continues to offer accessible, client-centred support delivered by qualified and compassionate professional volunteers, with a strong commitment to safe and ethical practice at all times.
Our calm and welcoming therapy spaces

"The support I received helped me process my difficulties.
Now I feel more at ease in daily life"
We understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult, which is why we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Our therapy environment is calm, supportive, and designed to help clients feel heard, valued, and safe throughout their journey.
We warmly welcome and support all survivors, regardless of age, disability, gender, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

"My confidence has grown. I feel more able to face challenges and trust myself."
